The Heavy Containment Elevator, more commonly known as the Elevator Shaft, is a large elevator that moves players between the Heavy Containment Zone and Light Containment Zone. It currently serves no significant purpose in-game, however, jumping inside the waste disposal bin will be fatal. Like the name implies, it is used to dispose of toxic waste. The Toxic Waste Disposal is a small disposal site located in Room 2-2 of the Heavy Containment Zone. Inside the box, the Minigun Part B can be found there, and it is one of the main parts for assembling the Minigun. The locker houses a green crate, which it can only be unlocked via the Skeleton Key. The Secure Storage Locker is a small storage room located in the Heavy Containment Zone. Like The Sealed Door, this door serves no purpose and is shrouded in mystery. Similar to The Sealed Door, the 989 Door cannot be opened in any possible way, even with an Omnicard, Skeleton Key, or a Hotwire. The Level 989 Door is a unique sealed door located in the Elevator Shaft. It only destroys the underground sections of the facility, meaning, the Surface is safe from the blast. They are used as a last resort to neutralize all breached Anomalies. The Omega Warheads are a collection of 6 nuclear warheads placed within the Heavy Containment Zone of Site-76. The Vampire is also contained in this sector, but can only be released during Spooktober. The Scarlet Lake and Living Room are the only heist anomalies present within this area. The Heavy Containment contains three medium-threat level anomalies and four high-threat level anomalies. This zone is also where Minigun Part A is located. This Zone also houses the Omega Warhead which can be used incase of a mass breach of anomalies.
A Level 3 Keycard is needed to enter and traverse the HCZ. One through the large elevator in the middle of Light Containment, and another through the personnel elevators near LCZ and the Mobile Task Force Armory.
